About the Opportunity

At LexAnalytico, you will work at the intersection of business strategy and law. This role is crafted for a proactive lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and desires multi-dimensional exposure-handleing contract negotiations one day, managing trademark/design prosecution the next, and assisting in high-stakes commercial disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, mark up, and negotiate diverse commercial agreements. Analyze contracts from legal, commercial, and risk management viewpoints while preparing risk mitigation summaries and executing precise legal research.
• Intellectual Property Prosecution: Conduct thorough trademark and design searches; draft, file, and prosecute applications before the Trade Marks Registry and Designs Wing of the Indian Patent Office. Prepare responses to examination reports, handle oppositions, monitor portfolio deadlines, and assist with copyright registration matters.
• Commercial Litigation Support: Support commercial dispute resolution matters by conducting in-depth legal research, drafting pleadings, applications, legal notices, and case briefs. Prepare chronologies, maintain evidence documentation, and liaise with external counsel to track court filings and hearings.

Eligibility & Candidate Profile

• Education: LL.B., B.A. LL.B., or B.B.A. LL.B. from a recognized university.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience within a reputable law firm, legal services organization, or in-house legal department.
• Domain Knowledge: Solid grounding in Indian trademark, copyright, and design laws, along with hands-on exposure to commercial drafting and dispute workflows.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional drafting, legal analytical, and communication skills, coupled with rigorous attention to detail and the ability to independently manage deadlines across multiple matters.
