Job summary

Steamhouse India Limited in Surat is seeking an entry-level legal compliance professional to manage drafting, contracts, and regulatory matters on site. You will liaise with government authorities, coordinate licenses and approvals, maintain official records, and support cross-functional teams across Operations, Finance, Projects, and Management.

Willingness to travel and respond quickly to regulatory changes is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in legal drafting and contract management.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and negotiations.

• Strong documentation, meeting management, and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with government authorities and regulators to manage licenses and approvals.
• Coordinate for NOCs, permissions, and regulatory matters across teams.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with officials and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Projects, Operations, Finance, and Management.
• Handle official correspondence, documentation, meetings and follow-ups.
• Track regulatory developments and provide timely updates to management.
• Maintain records of meetings, visits, approvals, and pending matters.
• Conduct regular site visits and government office visits as required.
• Provide support to management in stakeholder and regulatory matters.
• Willingness to travel extensively and travel on short notice as per business needs.
