Job summary

the Sleep Company is seeking a proactive Legal & Compliance Intern for a 3‑month stint in Mumbai (Jogeshwari West). This role supports the legal team in contract management, research, and compliance activities, offering hands-on exposure to real business scenarios.

You will draft, review, and vet agreements, conduct legal research, and assist in documenting compliance processes under supervision. Ideal candidates are pursuing LLB/BA LLB/BB A LLB and have strong drafting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing LLB / BA LLB / BBA LLB.
• Strong interest in corporate law, contracts, and compliance.
• Good understanding of legal concepts and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet NDAs, vendor agreements, and service contracts.
• Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, and case law.
• Support contract lifecycle management and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to provide legal inputs.
• Assist in compliance tracking and regulatory filings.
• Prepare summaries, notes, and basic opinions under supervision.

About the Role
