Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for a Legal Advisor. The Legal Advisor will provide expert legal advice, prepare legal documents, and address various legal issues. They will focus on labor and employment law, ensuring compliance and navigating legal complexities. The advisor will work closely with teams to support the company’s legal needs.

The Legal Advisor must have experience practicing corporate law, and be familiar with the laws of at least one state in the United States, primarily for the purposes of writing business contracts between business entities and employment contracts. They must be certified to practice in the jurisdiction they reside in.

Their tasks will include reviewing contracts, writing contracts, helping to draft business agreements and ensuring that the company is protected legally.

Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and the laws surrounding it, including data protection laws (such as GDPR) is a nice-to-have but not mandatory.
