Job summary

Growlease in Mumbai is seeking a Finance - Leasing Operations & Documentation Executive to support seamless execution of live leasing transactions. You will coordinate financial documentation, onboarding, invoicing, collections and closure while liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The role requires 2-3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely closing of transactions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are looking for a Finance - Leasing Operations & Documentation Executive to support the smooth financial and operational execution of live leasing transactions. The role will be responsible for coordinating financial documentation, transaction processing, client onboarding, billing and payment milestones, compliance requirements, reconciliations and stakeholder coordination. This is a high-ownership finance operations role for someone who enjoys working with numbers, documentation and multiple stakeholders while ensuring transactions are accurate, timely and properly closed.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate client onboarding from a finance perspective and ensure required KYC, financial and transaction documents are collected, verified, organised and tracked.
• Prepare, maintain and coordinate financial and transaction documentation across clients, internal teams, lenders and other financing stakeholders.
• Support the end-to-end financial execution of leasing transactions, including transaction setup, disbursement requirements, invoicing, collections and closure.
• Track transaction-level financial milestones, payment schedules, documentation requirements and pending actions.
• Coordinate with finance, accounts, legal, company secretarial, insurance, operations and external stakeholders to close financial and documentation dependencies on time.
• Review transaction documents for completeness, accuracy, commercial consistency and alignment with approved terms.
• Support preparation and maintenance of MIS, financial trackers, reconciliation statements and transaction reports.
• Monitor receivables, payment status, security deposits, advances and other transaction-related financial obligations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for invoice processing, payment follow-ups, disbursements and settlement of outstanding items.
• Support asset delivery and post-delivery financial documentation, including installation records, delivery confirmations and asset records.
• Maintain records for live transactions, renewals, compliance requirements, payment milestones and end-of-lease activities.
• Assist with periodic reconciliations and identify discrepancies between transaction records, invoices, payments and supporting documentation.
• Support ongoing lease administration, asset monitoring and end-of-lease financial documentation.

Identify missing information, financial discrepancies and process gaps and proactively escalat[e] them with a clear action trail.

• Ensure strong documentation, audit trails, record keeping and confidentiality across all financial transactions.

What We're Looking For

• 2-3 years of experience in financial-services operations, NBFC/lending operations, leasing, finance operations, loan processing, accounts or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of financial documentation, transaction processing and reconciliation.
• Strong MS Excel skills with the ability to maintain trackers, MIS and transaction-level reports.
• High attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies, missing information and documentation gaps.
• Ability to handle confidential client, financial and transaction information.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, accounting or workflow systems will be an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions, stakeholders and deadlines independently.
• Clear communication and strong professional follow-up skills.
• Exposure to KYC, agreements, invoicing, collections, disbursements, reconciliations, compliance or lease documentation will be an advantage.
