Job summary

WSP India is seeking a Lease Abstraction/Administration professional to review and abstract lease information, maintain records, and ensure data integrity across the global lease database. The role involves handling new leases, renewals, terminations, and rent-related reconciliations.

The position requires 3+ years of commercial lease abstraction or property administration experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with management information systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial lease abstraction or property administration work experience.
• Knowledge and experience with commercial real estate lease agreements.
• Ability to interpret and abstract lease information.
• Ability to process volumes of data requiring strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new management information systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Review and abstract lease agreements and key information (provisions, clauses, options, dates, property data, obligations).
• Enter and maintain lease information in the lease management database.
• Keep lease activities updated in the global lease database (new leases, renewals, terminations).
• Maintain records of all lease agreements and correspondence with landlords.
• Review monthly rent invoices with regional team and Accounts Payable to resolve variances.
• Review OPEX/CAM & Real Estate Tax reconciliations and true-up payments.
• Review estimates and update the database for proper payment amounts.

Job description

Lease Abstraction/Administration

• Reviews lease agreements and abstracts key information including but not limited to lease provisions, clauses, options and critical dates, property information (i.e. rentable area), business, legal and financial agreements and obligations, terms and conditions.
• Enters and maintains lease agreement information within lease management database.

Responsible for data integrity of lease information

• Maintains and updates lease activities (new leases, renewal/extensions, terminations, etc.) in global lease database
• Maintains records of all lease agreements, including copies of all fully executed agreements and correspondence with landlords

Rent Payment Processing

• Review monthly rent invoices for accuracy and work with regional lease admin team and Accounts Payable team to remedy any variances
• Review annual Operating Expense/CAM & Real Estate Tax Reconciliations and process true-up payments
• Review annual Operating Expense/CAM & Real Estate Tax Estimates and update database for proper payment amounts
