Job summary

Accenture is seeking a LearnVantage Associate Counsel to join Global Services Legal. You will provide legal risk assessments, deal-terms SME guidance, and governance for LearnVantage offerings, including AI-enabled products and industry solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in corporate or law firm settings, with experience in technology services, IP, product and/or privacy counsel, and willingness to navigate regulatory landscapes. Collaboration across legal and business teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Three (3+) years’ experience in a corporate or law firm setting handling commercial transactions, operating as intellectual property, product and/or privacy counsel.
• Experience with technology services, emerging technologies and offerings.
• Experience analyzing complex facts and situations to provide risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Understanding or willingness to learn applicable regulatory landscapes as required for the offerings.

Responsibilities

• Providing legal risk assessments of LearnVantage service and product offerings (both new and those reinvented with advanced AI or for particular industries) and preparing those offerings for market in compliance with regulations & Accenture policies.
• Providing SME advice to deal terms regarding LearnVantage service offerings & products and their associated risks, contractual guardrails & mitigations.
• Reviewing licenses from third party vendors & ecosystem partners, summarizing and advising on client facing terms needed.
• Developing templates, playbooks, and guidance to enable sales, marketing, and product teams and answering related queries on them.
• Implementing governance frameworks, processes, and tools to support scalable product development and product-oriented go to market enablement.
• Developing & scaling tech enabled legal support for LearnVantage services & product offerings.

We help the business self-regulate by providing a comprehensive analysis of its environment and predictive compliance. By supporting Reinvention Partners & Reinvention Engines with accurate and timely legal advice, we anticipate risks and provide mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing legal risk assessments of LearnVantage service and product offerings (both new and those reinvented with advanced AI or for particular industries) and preparing those offerings for market in compliance with regulations & Accenture policies.

In the role, you will :

• Engage in effective team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and process industrialization.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other teams within GSL and other Legal and Corporate Functions to share knowledge and guidance relating to LearnVantage offerings and obtain input regarding compliance with applicable policies, laws and regulations - including S&D Legal, CORE, Strategic Partnering, V&A, Buy-side Contracting, Procurement, Global Tax, Finance, Controllership.
• Lead or support special projects requiring project development and execution skills, including for example in relation to new technologies, process reinvention or transformation efforts.
• Support ad hoc cross-GSL, cross-Legal or cross-functional initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Three (3+) years’ experience in a corporate or law firm setting handling commercial transactions, operating as intellectual property, product and/or privacy counsel. Experience in the edtech space is a plus.
• Experience with technology services, emerging technologies and offerings.
• Experience analyzing complex facts and situations to provide risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Understanding or willingness to learn applicable regulatory landscapes as required for the offerings.
