Job summary

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) in Mumbai seeks a Training and Development professional to identify development needs, design and deliver programs, and measure impact across the organization. You will partner with business leaders and HR to drive effective learning initiatives.

The role requires excellent communication, strong presentation skills, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset, with experience in multimedia platforms and remote delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify training and development needs via job analysis, appraisals, and consultation with managers and HR.
• Conduct annual training needs assessments.
• Develop and deliver training programs and objectives, including facilitation of those programs.
• Manage departmental budget for training materials and events.
• Train and coach managers, supervisors, and staff involved in development efforts.
• Plan and organize training events and source supplies.
• Maintain organizational communications about training resources and events.
• Evaluate training outcomes and modify programs as needed.
• Collaborate with management and HR to align learning with business goals.

Job description

Primary Responsibility

• Identify training and development needs within an organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and HR Team.
• Conducts annual training and development needs assessment.
• Develops training and development programs and objectives including the delivery and facilitation of those programs.
• Administers spending against the departmental budget. Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
• Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
• Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
• Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
• Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
• Modifies programs as needed. Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
• Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff and influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
