Job summary

Trelleborg India Private Limited (Business Area: Trelleborg Sealing Solutions) in Bangalore is hiring a senior Learning & Development leader to shape the training strategy and drive capability development across functions.

You will design annual training plans, oversee programs, manage budgets, and ensure compliance while partnering with internal and external trainers to build leadership and technical skills across operators and managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Learning & Development or Training Management is preferred.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Exposure to technical, compliance, behavioral, and leadership training programs.
• Strong Communications in English and Kannada.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual training plan aligned with business and people priorities.
• Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) across functions and locations.
• Establish learning frameworks and capability development roadmaps.
• Design, organize, and monitor technical, behavioral, leadership, compliance, and functional training programs.
• Coordinate internal trainers and external training partners.
• Manage training calendars, nominations, logistics, and participant communication.
• Drive employee skill development initiatives.
• Develop learning pathways for operators, supervisors, managers, and leadership teams.
• Support succession planning and talent development through targeted learning interventions.
• Ensure completion of statutory and mandatory training requirements.
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
• Support audits related to training and competence management.
• Measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and business impact analysis.
• Track training KPIs and provide regular dashboards and reports to management.
• Recommend improvements based on training outcomes and organizational needs.
• Manage training budgets effectively.
• Evaluate, select, and manage external training providers.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
• Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
• Promote e-learning, micro-learning, and self-development initiatives.
• Ensure accurate training data and reporting.
