Job summary

Trelleborg India Private Limited (Business Area: Trelleborg Sealing Solutions) söker en Lernandings- och utvecklingschef i Bangalore för att leda och utveckla företagets utbildningsprogram. Du kommer att samordna interna och externa tränare, driva kompetensutveckling och säkerställa efterlevnad av krav.

Du kommer designa och genomföra utbildningsvägar för olika nivåer, följa upp effekten av utbildningar och förbättra processer i samarbete med ledningen.

Qualifications

• Kandidatens examensbevis i HR/BA/Engineering eller relaterat område.
• Certifiering inom Learning & Development eller Training Management är meriterande.
• 8–12 års erfarenhet inom Learning & Development, varav minst 3 år i ledande roll.
• Erfarenhet från tillverknings- eller industrimiljöer är önskvärd.
• Erfarenhet av teknisk, efterlevnads-, beteende- och ledarskapsträning.
• Stark kommunikation på engelska och Kannada.

Responsibilities

• Utveckla och genomföra årsutbildningsplan i linje med affärsbehov.
• Genomföra behovsanalys över funktioner och platser.
• Koordinera interna utbildare och externa utbildningspartners.
• Hantera utbildningskalendrar, nomineringsprocesser, logistik och kommunikation.
• Utveckla utbildningsvägar för operatörer, chefer och ledning.
• Stöd succession och talangutveckling genom riktade åtgärder.
• Säkerställa lagstadgad och obligatorisk utbildning samt behörighetsdokumentation.
• Följa upp utbildningsresultat och affärspåverkan.
• Underhålla utbildningsregister och regelefterlevnad.
• Leda budget och leverantörshantering, kontraktsförhandlingar och utvärdering.
• Hantera Learning Management Systems (LMS) och digitala lärplattformar.
• Främja e-learning, micro-learning och självutveckling.
• Säkerställa korrekta utbildningsdata och rapportering.

The position is to lead and manage the organization's learning and development function by identifying training needs, designing and implementing capability-building initiatives, coordinating internal and external training programs, and ensuring workforce competence aligns with business objectives.

About The Job

Training Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement the annual training plan aligned with business and people priorities.
• Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) across functions and locations.
• Establish learning frameworks and capability development roadmaps.

Learning Program Management

• Design, organize, and monitor technical, behavioral, leadership, compliance, and functional training programs.
• Coordinate internal trainers and external training partners.
• Manage training calendars, nominations, logistics, and participant communication.

Capability Development

• Drive employee skill development initiatives.
• Develop learning pathways for operators, supervisors, managers, and leadership teams.
• Support succession planning and talent development through targeted learning interventions.

Compliance & Mandatory Training

• Ensure completion of statutory and mandatory training requirements.
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
• Support audits related to training and competence management.

Training Effectiveness & Reporting

• Measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and business impact analysis.
• Track training KPIs and provide regular dashboards and reports to management.
• Recommend improvements based on training outcomes and organizational needs.

Budget & Vendor Management

• Manage training budgets effectively.
• Evaluate, select, and manage external training providers.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.

Learning Systems & Digital Learning

• Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
• Promote e-learning, micro-learning, and self-development initiatives.
• Ensure accurate training data and reporting.

About The Ideal Candidate

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Learning & Development or Training Management is preferred.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Exposure to technical, compliance, behavioral, and leadership training programs.
• Strong Communication in English and Kannada.
