Qualifications

  • 24 years of experience in automated software testing.
  • Proficient with Leapwork or similar no-code/low-code automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC.
  • Experience converting manual tests into automated Leapwork flows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Leapwork automation flows for web, desktop, and API apps.
  • Define test scenarios with QA stakeholders and automation requirements.

  • Maintain and optimize existing Leapwork suites.

Job Title: Leapwork Automated Testing Engineer
Department: Quality Assurance / Test Automation
Reports To: QA Lead / Test Automation Manager
Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automated Testing Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated test workflows using the Leapwork automation platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automated functional, regression, and end-to-end testing, coupled with a deep understanding of test strategy, quality processes, and continuous integration practices. This role requires collaboration with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to ensure software quality and accelerate delivery cycles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain Leapwork automation flows for web, desktop, and API-based applications.
  • Collaborate with QA analysts and business stakeholders to define test scenarios and automation requirements.
  • Convert manual test cases into robust Leapwork automated test flows.
  • Maintain and optimize existing Leapwork automation suites to ensure stability and efficiency.
  • Integrate Leapwork automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and fix failing automation workflows.
  • Execute automated test runs and analyze results, creating detailed defect reports.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues found through automation.
  • Ensure test data is created and managed to support automated testing scenarios.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and documentation activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • An ability to communicate effectively with Developers, Functional Analyst, and QA Team
  • 24 years of experience in automated software testing, preferably with Leapwork or similar no-code/low-code automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and executing automation flows in Leapwork.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps Test Plans, or TestRail.
  • Good troubleshooting and debugging skills for both applications under test and automation workflows.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leapwork Certification (Foundation or Advanced).
  • Experience with data-driven testing in Leapwork.
  • Familiarity with API testing in Leapwork.
  • Knowledge of SQL for validating backend data.
  • Exposure to automation in hybrid test environments (cloud + on-premises).
