Job summary

Reserve Bank Information Technology seeks a Lead UX Designer to drive user-centered design across enterprise SaaS platforms, portals, and PWAs in Navi Mumbai.

You will mentor design teams, collaborate with product, business, and engineering, and apply WCAG guidelines and AI-enhanced workflows to create scalable, accessible experiences.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience, strong research background, and expertise in information architecture and design systems.

Qualifications

• Masters degree with specialization in Design, Marketing, Human-Computer Interaction Design, Psychology or Multimedia.
• Good to have Certification in UX and Design Thinking.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to translate requirements into intuitive interfaces.
• Lead end-to-end UX lifecycle for SaaS platforms, portals, websites, and PWAs.
• Design experiences across interconnected modules ensuring smooth navigation and workflows.
• Leverage AI capabilities to personalize and improve design efficiency.

• Define information architecture to support intuitive navigation and discoverability.
• Plan and conduct user research including surveys and stakeholder discussions.

Lead UX Designer Portfolio

Experience: 8 -10 years

Roles and Responsibility

• Work closely with product, business, and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into clear, usable interface solutions.
• Lead the end-to-end UX lifecycle for SaaS platforms, portals, websites, and progressive web applications (PWAs).
• Design experiences across interconnected modules, ensuring smooth navigation and workflow continuity.
• Leverage AI and generative AI capabilities to enhance user experiences by enabling personalization, intelligent workflows, predictive interactions, and improved design efficiency across products.
• Design for enterprise-grade systems with high complexity, data density, and multi-user roles
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and heuristic evaluations for strategic design decisions.
• Define, structure, and evolve information architecture to support intuitive navigation and content discoverability.
• Plan and execute comprehensive user research, including surveys, stakeholder discussions, and in-depth user interviews.
• Translate research findings into practical design improvements.
• Conduct usability testing, heuristic evaluation and regular UX reviews to validate and improve designs.
• Model and optimize end-to-end user journeys for workflow-intensive and process-driven applications.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of accessibility guidelines, including the latest WCAG framework and GIGW standards, and ensure compliance across all design deliverables.
