Job description

The Lead Product UX Designer will be responsible for shaping the UX strategy, leading design initiatives, and ensuring that user needs and business objectives are aligned in our products. This role requires a seasoned UX professional with strong leadership skills, experience in guiding teams, and a robust portfolio of successful, user-centered product designs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• UX Strategy & Vision: Develop and drive the UX vision and strategy, aligning with company goals and enhancing the overall product experience
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UX designers, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting skill development
• User Research & Insights: Guide and support user research activities to ensure insights inform design decisions, including usability testing, persona development, and user journey mapping
• Design System Development: Lead the creation and evolution of design systems, ensuring visual consistency, usability, and scalability across products
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions that meet technical, business, and user needs
• End-to-End Product Design: Oversee the design process from concept through implementation, ensuring all products are accessible, visually cohesive, and aligned with user needs
• Stakeholder Communication: Present design ideas and user insights to leadership and stakeholders, providing evidence-based recommendations and fostering understanding of UXâs role in product success
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, UX best practices, and emerging technologies to bring new ideas and insights to the team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 3+ years in a lead or senior role in a product-focused environment
• Portfolio demonstrating a strong UX design process, including case studies showcasing problem-solving, research insights, and end-to-end design thinking
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring UX design teams
• Strong knowledge of user research methodologies, usability testing, and user-centered design principles
• Experience in building and managing design systems and understanding of responsive design
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advocate for design within a cross-functional team
