Job summary

Sequel Logistics seeks a seasoned Principal / Senior Lead UI/UX Designer to shape product design vision across core web and mobile apps. You will partner with senior leadership to translate strategy into scalable, pixel-perfect experiences from discovery to delivery.

You will own the end-to-end design lifecycle, drive design systems, and ensure WCAG-compliant, accessible experiences while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of UI/UX design experience across web and native mobile.
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UI/UX execution and measurable impact.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma with design systems and prototyping.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned Principal / Senior Lead UI/UX Designer with 8 to 12

years of experience to drive the product design vision and user experience strategy

across our core web and mobile applications. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of business strategy, human-centred design, and emerging technology. You will partner directly with senior executive leadership to turn high-level strategic directives into intuitive, scalable, and

commercially impactful digital experiences. You will take full ownership of the end-to-

end design lifecycle—from ambiguous problem discovery through to pixel-perfect

delivery across iOS, Android, and web ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect coherent, unified, and intuitive user experiences tailored specifically to web (desktop/responsive) and native mobile (iOS HIG and Android Material Design) platforms.
• Lead deep discovery phases—including user workflows, information architecture (IA), ecosystem mapping, wireframing, and low/high-fidelity interactive prototyping.
• Define high-impact visual direction, typography, layout hierarchies, micro- interactions, and motion design that elevate our visual brand identity.
• Architect, scale, and govern our enterprise design system (in Figma) across web and mobile, ensuring UI consistency, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA+ standards), and design efficiency.
• Serve as the strategic design partner to senior leadership, translating business goals, growth metrics, and market positioning into compelling digital product strategies.
• Partner with Product Management to define multi-year product roadmaps, validate early concepts, and steer product strategy using research and design artifacts.
• Articulate complex design decisions, user journeys, and trade-offs to non- design executives, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams with clarity and authority.
• Establish standards, documentation, and handoff workflows between design, product, and engineering teams.
• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative user research programs, including contextual discovery, usability testing, tree testing, and A/B test analysis.
• Partner closely with front-end and native mobile developers to verify technical feasibility, evaluate build trade-offs, and ensure production fidelity.
• Elevate organizational design maturity and establish design best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 8–12 years of dedicated UI/UX design experience building complex, strategic web and native mobile (iOS & Android) applications in production environment.
• A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UI/UX execution, strategic decision-making, design system architecture, and measurable business impact across both web and mobile platforms.
• Expert proficiency in Figma (advanced auto-layout, variables, component libraries, interactive prototyping) alongside modern research, analytics, and handoff platforms
• Deep technical understanding of platform-specific conventions, responsive web breakpoints, native iOS/Android guidelines, and technical handoff workflows.
• Solid working knowledge of WCAG standards and accessible design principles.
• Experience designing complex B2B SaaS platforms, enterprise workflows, or high-scale consumer fintech/marketplace applications.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capability limits and mobile framework constraints (React, Swift, Kotlin, React Native).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience facilitating strategic design sprints and cross-functional alignment workshops.
