Job summary

Iris Software in Noida (Sector 142) seeks a Transport Lead to manage end-to-end employee transportation for an IT organization. You will oversee transport operations, budgets, and vendor relationships to deliver safe, cost-efficient services.

The role requires leadership of 34 Transport Executives, strong MIS reporting, and a focus on process improvements and automation to enhance employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day employee transport operations including regular shifts, ad-hoc requests, and emergency transportation.
• Coordinate transportation for clients, visitors, and senior management.
• Manage spot rental vehicles based on operational requirements.
• Lead and supervise a team of 34 Transport Executives.
• Manage transport vendors, monitor SLA compliance, and conduct periodic reviews.
• Verify vendor invoices and coordinate timely submissions to Finance.
• Maintain transport MIS including utilization, budget vs actual, billing status, dashboards and management reports.
• Respond promptly to employee transport requests and emails.
• Drive initiatives on driver training, safe driving, employee safety and statutory compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost optimization.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and service-oriented Transport Lead to manage end-to-end employee transportation operations for our IT organization. This role requires ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective transport services while delivering excellent employee experience. The incumbent will manage employee transportation, client transportation, spot rentals, transport vendors, transport executives, MIS reporting, billing coordination and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

• 58 years of relevant experience in employee transport/fleet operations.
• Minimum 2 years of team-handling experience.
• Implementation of transport automation.
• Experience in IT/ITES/BPO/corporate environment preferred.
