Job summary

Guidehouse India is hiring a Medical Coding Training professional to lead and mentor coders and QA teams in India. You will deliver training, audit processes, and create educational materials aligned with client contracts while ensuring high accuracy and productivity.

You will collaborate with onshore teams, adapt to shifts, and stay updated with industry changes to keep training current and effective.

Qualifications

• Probation period completed with the organization.
• 3+ years of experience as Trainer.
• Provide education for new coders.
• Provide training/education for coders in PIP.
• Perform random audits for coders across projects.
• Perform random audits for QA’s.
• Create training documents based on major error trends.
• Stay abreast of industry changes and update training materials.
• Ensure coders achieve minimum 95% accuracy in coding.
• Maintain productivity while upholding quality.
• Flexible to work in shifts and co-ordinate with onshore education team.
• Strong analytical skills; proficient in MS Excel/Word/PPT.
• AAPC or AHIMA certification is required.

• Assures coders achieve and maintain a minimum 95% accuracy in coding based on client contract.
• Assures coders maintain average productivity standards while maintaining quality.
• Flexible to work in shifts and co-ordinate with onshore education team.
• Should have excellent analytical skills and exposure to basic MS Excel/ Word/PPT.
• Ability to provide constant feedback and education to entire coders/QA’s/Leads.
• Should be AAPC or AHIMA certified.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience working in multiple specialties.
• Prior experience in handling client communication or audits.
• Exposure to US Healthcare RCM process.
• Proficiency in coding platforms or tools.
• Ability to train or mentor Junior coders.
• Basic understanding of compliance and HIPAA regulations.
