Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking a Lead Technology Analyst – Security & Governance Lead in Bengaluru. You will oversee identity and access governance across core platforms, enforcing least privilege while restructuring RBAC and applying security controls on SAP ECC, Fiori, and Charm.

You will mentor security analysts, develop governance policies, and drive audits and remediation for over-privileged roles, aligning with SOX, GDPR and Airbus guidelines across global operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 9+ years of experience in SAP ECC, Fiori, and Charm authorizations including SAP Role design and Identity access management.
• Experience with User & Role Management for On-Premise and Cloud environments.
• Deep experience in Identity Access Governance, GRC, and Identity Lifecycle Management tools.
• Hands-on with security role engineering, profile generation, authorization matrices, and provisioning workflows.
• Strong understanding of IAM, role hierarchy modeling, and least-privilege mapping.

Lead Technology Analyst – Security & Governance Lead

As a Lead Technology Analyst – Security Lead for Airbus Aerostructures, oversee and optimize the governance, investigation, and harmonization of Access Control across all core and platform systems. This role ensures robust security protocols, addresses over-privileged user risks, and re-builds role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks, directly contributing to the overall integrity, compliance, and protection of restricted and sensitive aerospace data within our IT operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end alignment and optimization of identity and access governance, ensuring strict adherence to the principle of least privilege across all core business platforms.
• Lead the design and implementation of SAP Security solutions across SAP ECC, Fiori, Charm and integrated systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of security and access management analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and risk mitigation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive access control policies, procedures, and security standards in line with best practices, export controls, and regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, Airbus Security Concepts and Guidelines).
• Investigate current over-privileged user roles across all core and platform systems, identifying security gaps and driving swift remediation plans.
• Harmonize access governance by re-building, standardizing, and deploying robust role-based access control protocols across the enterprise landscape.
• Oversee user access provisioning, de-provisioning, and regular access certification processes, ensuring absolute accuracy, timeliness, and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Manage and execute targeted security audits, privilege assessments, and compliance checks, tracking metrics to report on the reduction of broad access risks.
• Drive the continuous improvement of identity governance tools and processes, prioritizing automation initiatives for access management and audit trail tracking.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand access requirements and align security boundaries.
• Good communication, collaborative culture across multiple regions

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate with 9+ years of experience in SAP ECC, Fiori and Charm authorizations including SAP Role design and Identity access management, access governance.
• Excellent knowledge of User & Role Management Practices for both On-Premise and Cloud-based Enterprise/Platform Product.
• Deep experience in Identity Access and Governance, Governance Risk and Compliance, and Identity Lifecycle Management tools.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with security role engineering, profile generation, authorization matrices, and automated provisioning workflows.
• Strong understanding of modern identity and access management and role hierarchy modeling.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional change.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-assessment abilities, especially when mapping business roles to technical system privileges.
• Ability to communicate complex technical security risks and compliance requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional Expertise:

• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA, S4Hana Cloud, SAP BTP and GRC/IAG.
