S&P Global is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate secure, scalable REST services using Java/Spring Boot. You will deploy on AWS with Terraform, manage CI/CD pipelines, and implement robust security and observability practices.
The role emphasizes collaboration with product teams and other stakeholders to continuously improve reliability and performance in a large, mission-critical environment in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Formación
- 9+ years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing RESTful services and APIs with hands-on AWS development.
- Experience with Terraform, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of application security and vulnerability management (CodeQL, Dependabot, Wiz).

- Design, develop, test, and support secure, scalable, highly available applications and REST services using Java and Spring/Spring Boot
- Deploy and manage applications in AWS using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
- Use GitHub and CI/CD pipelines for source control, automated builds, testing, and deployments
- Build security into the SDLC and drive remediation of vulnerabilities found by CodeQL, Dependabot, Wiz, and other tools
- Implement application logging with Splunk and support monitoring, troubleshooting, and observability
- Provide production support and collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to continuously improve reliability and performance
- 9+ years of software development experience, with strong hands‑on expertise in Java and Spring/Spring Boot
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful services and APIs, with hands‑on AWS development and deployment
- Experience with Terraform, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of application security (secure coding, authentication/authorization, vulnerability management) and experience with CodeQL, Dependabot, and Wiz
- Experience with Splunk for logging and troubleshooting, and an understanding of observability, monitoring, metrics, and alerting
- Collaborates effectively with developers, architects, product teams, and other stakeholders
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex production issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
