Lead Software Engineer - SharePoint

Job summary

ECI in Bengaluru/Indore hybrid is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer – SharePoint to conceptualize, design, and delivery of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint solutions, including migrations from fileshares and ensuring link integrity with tools like LinkFixer.

You will lead migration and development activities, define best practices, review code, ensure standards, and mentor team members while collaborating with product managers, developers and architects.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint including fileshare to SharePoint migration and Power Platform.
• 4+ years of experience with tools like SPMT, AvePoint, ShareGate, Linkfixer, Migration Manager.
• Develop and implement SharePoint solutions aligned with business needs.
• Implement Governance, Lifecycle Policies, Retention Policies and Access Management
• Design and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions including SharePoint and Power Platform.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with LinkFixer, PowerAutomate, Powershell, SPFx, PowerApps.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and Architect, to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Documentation: Create high level technical documentation for designed architectures and implementations, facilitating easier handovers and maintenance.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Must have experience on work management tool (i.e. JIRA)
• Familiar with standard SDLC and Agile processes.

The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Software Engineer – SharePoint. We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer. This role demands a professional who can not only conceptualize, and design MSFT Office & SharePoint based solutions but also roll up their sleeves to bring these designs to fruition. Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft 365 and SharePoint solutions, including fileshare to SharePoint migration and ensuring link integrity using tools like Link Fixer. This role combines technical leadership and migration expertise to support collaboration and productivity.

This is Hybrid position for candidates based in the Indore or Bangalore locations.
