EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Developer to strengthen a product lifecycle platform built with Java, Angular, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.

You will help embed AI Ops and AI SDLC in an AI-native delivery flow while operating within a scalable microservices architecture supporting industrial volumes. Responsibilities include developing the platform, scaling the microservices stack, and enforcing CI/CD standards, with emphasis on reliability and high availability.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in Java Full Stack development with Angular.
• Experience with REST APIs and service-to-service communication.
• Experience implementing engineering standards and CI/CD processes.
• Strong collaboration within cross-functional teams and openness to feedback.
• Proficiency in English at least B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain the product lifecycle platform using Java, Angular, and PostgreSQL.
• Scale and optimize a microservices architecture for high-volume environments.
• Implement engineering standards and CI/CD practices across delivery.
• Enable service integrations via REST APIs and other communication links.
• Review code and collaborate on testing activities with peers; adapt to rapid changes.
