We are looking for a software tech lead with around 8 years of experience in product development organizations. The candidate should have contributed to building a software product and must have exemplary skills in core software engineering, distributed and cloud computing, and a keen eye for innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers to design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Architect solutions using Ruby on Rails, React, and AWS tools, focusing on scalability and performance. Solid experience in open source, Java, and Microsoft technologies is also acceptable.
• Mentor team members on best practices in coding, design patterns, and system architecture.
• Manage project timelines and ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
• Oversee the integration of data stores and queuing systems for optimal application performance.
• Foster an Agile environment, promoting continuous improvement and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience with any programming language (Ruby on Rails, Python, Java or C/C++)
• Should have led a team of software engineers, whether formally or informally
• Very strong software architecture and design skills
• Practical experience in creating microservices and event-driven applications
• Expertise in AWS tools, Kubernetes, and other cloud services
• Strong knowledge of data stores like MySQL, Redis, and Memcache.
• Strong leadership skills in technology, customer management, and team management
• Process-oriented and able to create and foster a high-performing engineering team
