Job summary

Rocket India in Bengaluru seeks senior engineers who can lead from the front, architect elegant solutions, and elevate the engineering team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade .NET applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.

You will build robust RESTful APIs and microservices, guide architecture discussions, mentor juniors, integrate with Azure and GCP, and work with product, QA, and leadership to deliver reliable software that powers critical business

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development using C#, ASP.NET Core, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.

• Integrate applications with cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP, leveraging managed services for hosting, scalability, and resilience
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, improve deployment strategies, and drive engineering excellence
• Own performance optimization, reliability, and security across the applications and services your team delivers
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with a systematic, root-cause-driven approach
• Work closely with cross-functional teams — including product owners, QA, architects, and leadership — to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives
• Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and reusable patterns that benefit the broader engineering organization
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and proactively recommend improvements, modernization opportunities, and innovation paths for existing systems
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and estimation — serving as a technical anchor for your team
