Job summary

EPAM Systems in India is seeking a Lead / Senior Systems Engineer to manage HPC administration, ensuring high-performance computing environments run reliably and are well-supported for users.

You will resolve issues, maintain Linux RPM-based systems, build monitoring, and collaborate with users while optimizing hardware and coordinating with services like Slurm/UGE. Strong experience with Zabbix, ELK, Grafana, and Splunk is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years in systems engineering or HPC administration.
• Linux administration on RPM-based systems.
• Kernel module compilation & debugging tools: strace, coredump, tcpdump.
• Experience with monitoring platforms: Zabbix, ELK, Grafana; Splunk dashboards.
• HPC hardware diagnostics, upgrades, tuning: InfiniBand HCAs, Lustre/VAST/IBM storage, Dell/HP servers.
• Job schedulers: Slurm or UGE/AGE.
