Job summary

EPAM Systems in Gurugram is seeking a Lead/Senior Systems Engineer to manage HPC administration, ensuring high performance and reliable operations for users. The role focuses on Linux system stability, monitoring, and incident resolution across a large compute cluster.

The candidate will work with HPC hardware, job schedulers like Slurm/UGE, and monitoring stacks (Zabbix, ELK, Grafana, Splunk) to diagnose and optimize performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years of experience in systems engineering or HPC administration.
• Strong Linux administration on RPM-based systems.
• Experience with kernel module compilation and debugging tools (strace, coredump, tcpdump).
• Hands-on with monitoring platforms (Zabbix, ELK, Grafana) and Splunk dashboards.
• Knowledge of HPC hardware diagnostics and tuning (InfiniBand HCAs, Lustre/VAST/IBM storage, Dell/HP servers).
• Experience with job schedulers (Slurm, UGE/AGE).

Responsibilities

• Maintain Linux systems through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain infrastructure health monitoring.
