EPAM Systems in Bengaluru seeks a Lead or Senior Systems Engineer with HPC administration expertise to maintain HPC environments and provide operational support to users.

Responsibilities include incident triage, Linux stability, monitoring deployments, and service desk coordination; you will optimize HPC performance across InfiniBand, Lustre/VAST/IBM storage, and server hardware in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5 to 15 years of experience in systems engineering or HPC administration.
• Strong Linux administration on RPM-based systems.
• Proficiency with kernel module compilation and low-level debugging tools (strace, coredump, tcpdump).
• Experience configuring monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, ELK, and Grafana, along with Splunk dashboard setup.
• A background in HPC hardware diagnostics, upgrades, and tuning, covering InfiniBand HCAs, Lustre/VAST/IBM storage systems, and Dell/HP servers.
• Hands-on experience with job schedulers like Slurm or UGE/AGE.
