Job summary

AMVA Global is seeking a Lead / Senior Network Security Engineer (9+ years) to independently execute production firewall migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and complex routing for global clients. Remote India role with strong Fortinet and F5 expertise ensures high availability and security excellence.

You will own FortiGate/ FortiManager/ FortiAnalyzer and F5 LTM/GTM migrations, SSL offloading, and VPNs, while coordinating with stakeholders and leading production cutovers from India.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute enterprise firewall implementations, migrations, refreshes, and software upgrades across global client environments.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate firewall security policies, NAT, HA, and IPsec VPNs.
• Manage FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer centralized management and log analysis.

Detailed Job Description:

As a Lead / Senior Network Security Engineer supporting AMVA Global remotely across India, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise firewall implementations, migrations, production cutovers, and network infrastructure refreshes. Your day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting Fortinet firewall policies, NAT, High Availability (HA), and IPsec VPNs, executing F5 Load Balancer migrations, upgrades, and SSL certificate management, leading production cutovers, rollback planning, and post-implementation validation, troubleshooting complex routing and switching issues across BGP, OSPF, and Cisco Catalyst/Nexus platforms, coordinating change implementation activities in high-security environments, and collaborating closely with global client stakeholders. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex infrastructure anomalies under strict enterprise service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute enterprise firewall implementations, migrations, refreshes, and software upgrades across global client environments.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 9+ years of progressive professional experience in hands-on network security, infrastructure engineering, and enterprise networking.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on expertise in Fortinet / FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and firewall migration projects.
• Deep practical proficiency in F5 Load Balancer administration (LTM, GTM, VIPs, pools, SSL offloading).
• Solid practical mastery of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and enterprise switching (Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, vPC, HSRP).
• Proven operational experience delivering complex enterprise network migrations, production cutovers, and infrastructure refreshes.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under mission-critical enterprise conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong stakeholder coordination and technical leadership abilities.
• Mandatory legal work eligibility and physical availability for remote employment based in India.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Professional vendor certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP/FCSS), or Cisco CCNP Security.
• Prior professional working experience supporting BFSI, banking, or large global enterprise environments.
