Job summary

UKG is seeking a Lead Revenue Accountant to ensure accurate, compliant revenue recognition across its offerings. You will work with US-based Finance teams in an automated environment and report to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting.

You’ll apply ASC 606 to SaaS and services contracts, prepare journal entries, and perform reconciliations while partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of corporate revenue accounting experience or 4+ years of public accounting with ASC 606 exposure.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with large data sets.
• Experience with large ERP general ledger systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with upstream teams to maintain data integrity across Dynamics 365, RevPro, and source systems.
• Execute weekly and monthly revenue accounting processes and controls, investigating and resolving issues.
• Prepare journal entries and perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end flux analysis and reporting using large data sets and tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting and FP&A to resolve revenue-related inquiries.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Support external audits and SOX compliance activities.

About The Role

UKG is seeking a Lead Revenue Accountant who will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely revenue recognition across UKG’s revenue offerings. This role partners closely with U.S.-based Finance, Accounting, and Systems teams and operates within an automated revenue accounting environment. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting.

• Partner with upstream teams to maintain data integrity across Microsoft Dynamics 365, RevPro, and source systems.
• Execute weekly and monthly revenue accounting processes and controls, investigating and resolving issues.
• Prepare journal entries and perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end flux analysis and reporting using large data sets and tools such as Excel and Power BI.

• Experience with enterprise systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, RevPro (Zuora), and Salesforce.
• Experience with Microsoft office PowerPoint and Power BI
