Job summary

Ofsgroupindia is seeking a Lead QA/QC & Inspection Engineer (NDT Level III) for Navi Mumbai/site deployments. The role oversees non-destructive testing on high-pressure piping and offshore structures, and leads FAT witness and quality surveillance.

The candidate will formulate ITPs per ASME/API/ISO 9001 standards, execute NDT methods at vendor yards, and review WPQ/PQR/WPS, while driving NCR closure and supplier audits. 6+ years in heavy engineering and offshore fabrication are required.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Metallurgy, Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• ASNT Level III or CSWIP 3.2 in Ultrasonic Testing and Radiography.
• 6+ years in heavy engineering, refinery turnarounds, or offshore fabrication.
• Working knowledge of ASME Section VIII & B31.3 codes.

Responsibilities

• Formulate project-specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) aligned with ASME, API and ISO 9001:2015.
• Execute and witness advanced NDT methods (PAUT, TOFD, Radiography) at vendor yards.
• Review and approve Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ) and PQR/WPS dossiers.
• Conduct internal and supplier quality audits, manage NCRs to closure.
