Job summary

AdaniConneX is seeking a Project Planning & Control professional to drive scheduling, budgeting, monitoring, and governance for mission-critical Data Center projects. This role ensures delivery on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project controls, scheduling, cost management, and stakeholder coordination within large infrastructure, EPC, or Data Center environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Construction Management, or related discipline).
• Master's Degree / MBA / PMP Certification will be an added advantage.

AdaniConneX is seeking a highly motivated Project Planning & Control to drive planning, scheduling, budgeting, monitoring, and project governance activities for mission-critical Data Center infrastructure projects. The role will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality, safety, and operational standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project controls, scheduling, project monitoring, cost management, and stakeholder coordination within large infrastructure, industrial, construction, EPC, or Data Center environments.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Construction Management, or related discipline).
• Master's Degree / MBA / PMP Certification will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Prepare baseline schedules, resource plans, and project milestones.
• Track project progress and identify schedule variances and delays.
• Monitor critical paths and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely project delivery.

Project Monitoring & Control

• Review project performance against approved schedules and budgets.
• Generate project dashboards, MIS reports, progress reports, and management presentations.
• Monitor productivity, project risks, and key performance indicators.
• Support forecasting, progress measurement, and earned value management activities.

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Assist in project budgeting, cost planning, and financial tracking.
• Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support monthly cost reviews and budget variance analysis.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and finance teams to maintain cost control.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with engineering, construction, procurement, contracts, and project teams.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Facilitate project review meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Identify project risks and support mitigation planning.
• Maintain project governance frameworks and reporting structures.
• Ensure compliance with organizational processes and project management standards.
• Drive improvements in planning and project control processes.
• Support digitalization initiatives and implementation of project control tools.
• Contribute to lessons-learned sessions and best-practice development.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 6-14 years of experience in Project Planning & Control, Project Management, Scheduling, or Project Monitoring.
• Experience working on Data Centers, Industrial Projects, Buildings, EPC, Infrastructure, Energy, Telecom, Manufacturing, or Mission-Critical Facilities.
• Strong understanding of project life cycle management.
• Experience in scheduling, project controls, cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
