Job summary

Adani Group seeks a Project Head to lead end-to-end management of a high-profile data center project across multiple sites. You will oversee budgets, schedules, risk management, safety and quality assurance, ensuring alignment with the AdaniConneX 1GW infrastructure ambition.

The role requires 17–23 years of experience in data center infrastructure, with a proven track record in large-scale execution, and expertise in project management, governance, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in managing large-scale data center projects, end-to-end execution, budget oversight and risk management.
• Proven ability to ensure safety and quality through robust assurance protocols on mega projects.
• Strong leadership to coordinate diverse stakeholders, including executives and external contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for the Data Center project, aligning with AdaniConneX’s 1GW vision by 2030.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risks, safety, and quality to achieve timely delivery and global benchmarks.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and senior leaders; report to the Chief Project Officer & CEO as needed.
• Drive vendor management and stakeholder communication to ensure project success across multiple sites.

Job description

The Project Head will lead the end-to-end Project Management execution of the Data Center project, ensuring alignment with Adani ConneX’s vision of building data center infrastructure. This role is pivotal in delivering state-of-the-environmentally conscious, and globally benchmarked data center facilities. The incumbent will drive project Management, Project execution, manage budgets, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational excellence standards, timely completion, vendor management, stakeholder management, leveraging Adani Group’s expertise in mega-structure construction and EdgeConneX’s global data center operational benchmarks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 17–23 years of experience in the data center and infrastructure industry, with a proven track record in large-scale project execution and management.
• Expertise in project management, budget management, risk management, safety assurance, quality assurance, and testing & commissioning.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / Civil
• Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are preferred.

2. Proficiency in Safety and Quality Assurance

• Ensuring safety and quality standards are non-negotiable for this role. The candidate must have a proven track record in implementing and maintaining safety assurance and quality assurance protocols in large-scale infrastructure projects. This aligns with AdaniConneX’s commitment to delivering digital infrastructure with speed and safety, while adhering to global standards.

3. Leadership and Stakeholder Management

• The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders, including internal teams, external contractors, and senior executives. Reporting directly to the Chief Project Officer & CEO, the Project Head will play a pivotal role in aligning project goals with organizational objectives, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across all levels.
