Job summary

Omam Consultants seeks a Project Controls Head to lead the project controls function across the organization, designing and implementing robust systems for schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risks. You will drive governance, planning, cost management, and digital controls to enable data-driven project management.

The candidate should have 12+ years in project controls and EPC Oil & Gas exposure, with hands-on experience in Primavera, Oracle, Excel, and MS Project, and experience on international

• Minimum 12+ years in Project Controls, Commercial, and Cost Management.
• Mandatory EPC Oil & Gas experience (India/international).
• Hands-on experience with Primavera, Oracle, Excel, MS Project.
• Must have handled projects in USA and UK & Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern project control systems and procedures for planning, cost estimating, cost accounting, and reporting.
• Organize planning and team management to align with manpower requirements.
• Prepare and maintain the Project Master Schedule and EPC schedules; conduct reviews and corrective actions.
• Implement cost coding structures and develop project budgets.
• Ensure deployment of project systems, IMS training, data security, and reporting tools.

Role & responsibilities: ----

The Project Controls Head plays a critical leadership role within the Project Management Team and is responsible for driving the overall success of project control functions across the organization. This position exists to design, implement, and manage robust systems, procedures, and standards that ensure accurate definition, monitoring, and control of project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risks, enabling proactive and data-driven project management.

Responsibilities: ---

1. Project Controls Leadership & Governance

Establish, implement, and manage project control systems and procedures covering planning and scheduling, cost estimating, cost accounting, cost control, project reporting,

2. Organization, Planning & Team Management

• Develop and maintain the Project Controls organization aligned with project manpower requirements.

3. Planning & Scheduling

• Lead preparation and updating of the Project Master Schedule and detailed EPC schedules.
• Conduct schedule reviews, trend analysis, and corrective actions.

4. Cost Management (Budgeting & Forecasting)

• Implement cost coding structures and develop project control budgets.

5. Project Systems & Digital Controls

• Ensure effective implementation of project systems, IMS training, data security, and reporting tools.
