Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai is seeking a TCS Product Integration Engineer with 8 to 20 years of banking-domain Java experience. You will design and develop core banking integration, build interfaces using data streaming, APIs, and event-driven architecture, and collaborate with customers to implement solutions.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform unit testing, contribute to Swagger documentation, and participate in code reviews while driving automation and adopting DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Low level design & development for TCS BaNCS banking products (core banking, payments, loan origination).
• Integrate BaNCS with customer IT landscapes via data streaming, event-driven interfaces, APIs and files.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and perform unit testing of developed code.
• Drive automation in processes and maintain Swagger/docs.
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements into design and code.

Role - TCS Product Integration Engineer

Desired Experience Range - 8 to 20 years of experience

Location of Requirement - Mumbai

Required Technical Skill Set-

• 1. Hands on Expertise in developing Banking systems in Java architecture.
• 2. Experience in Java Application Design / Development and integration architecture along with modern technologies like Apache Kafka, Container orchestration and microservices architecture.
• 3. Good level of exposure to cloud-native architecture and DevOps Practices . AWS/AZURE Exposure is nice to have
• 4. Experience using and developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON ;
• 5. Technical skills one or more out of : Java EE , Struts , Angular , Springboot , Database query writing in RDBMS ( Oracle / DB2/PostgreSQL) , Github , Jmeter,Swagger , Agile Methodologies , data migration

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)-

Must-Have

• 1. Software Development (Design and Coding) for Banking domain experience in a Core Banking development , integration and support will be given preference; Experience in Payments Processing systems (except Cards) like NEFT / RTGS / SWIFT / ACH / Wires / SEPA or equivalent will be given preference.
• 2. Knowledge of above-mentioned Technologies

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• 1. Low level design & Development new / incremental for Banking Products of TCS BaNCS (Core Banking , Payments , Loan Origination etc)
• 2. Integration of TCS BaNCS systems into customers IT landscape by designing and developing interfaces using data streaming , event architecture , APIs , file etc
• 3. Troubleshoot problems reported by customer / users
