Job summary

ACG World is seeking a Lead- Process Technology & Support to provide technical expertise in pharmaceutical processing, development, scale-up and customer support. The role involves working with Fluid bed equipment, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving successful technology transfer and process optimization for pharmaceutical products.

Qualifications

• 12–14 years of experience in manufacturing, process technology and tech transfer.
• Independent leadership of process trials, commissioning and troubleshooting with domestic and international customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize pharmaceutical processes including High Shear, Dry and Fluid Bed Granulation, Fluid bed Drying, Coating and Granulation.
• Execute laboratory, pilot and commercial-scale trials and support technology transfer and scale-up activities.
• Lead/start-up activities including FAT, SAT, commissioning and qualification of processing equipment at customer sites.
• Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis and CAPA for process, equipment, automation and instrumentation issues.
• Prepare technical reports, trial reports, SOPs and best-practice documents.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Service, Automation and Quality teams for project execution.

Job description

Position Title: Lead- Process Technology & Support

Job Objective -

To provide technical expertise in pharmaceutical process technology, process development, scale-up, process optimization, equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer technical support, predominantly involving Fluid bed equipment. The role works closely with Customers, Sales, Engineering, Service, Automation, R&D, Production and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and optimization of pharmaceutical processing solutions.

Primary responsibilities -

• Develop and optimize pharmaceutical processes involving High Shear, Dry and Fluid Bed Granulation, Fluid bed Drying, Wurster Coating, Tangential Granulation and Coating, Hot Melt Granulation, Tablet Coating, etc
• Execute laboratory, pilot and commercial-scale trials and support technology transfer and scale-up activities.
• Lead/support FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification and start-up of processing equipment at customer sites.
• Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis and CAPA for process, equipment, automation and instrumentation issues.
• Act as technical interface with customers and support process demonstrations, validation and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Service, Automation, Quality and Production teams for project execution and problem resolution.
• Prepare technical reports, trial reports, case studies, SOPs and best-practice documents.
• Drive continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, customer satisfaction and competitor benchmarking initiatives.
• Support business development through technical solutions, aftermarket opportunities and spares generation.
