Job summary

ACG leads in pharmaceutical process technology and support, driving development, scale-up, and optimization of solid dosage manufacturing with a focus on fluid bed processing and coatings.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Fluid Bed Processor, High Shear Granulator, Wurster coating, rotor-based equipment and related processes, along with a strong customer-facing ethos. You will coordinate across Sales, Engineering, Service and R&D to deliver successful technology transfers.

Qualifications

• 12 to 14 years of experience in manufacturing, process technology, technology transfer, scale-up and customer-facing technical support.
• 10-12 years of experience in manufacturing, process technology, technology transfer, scale-up and customer-facing technical support.
• Independent leadership of process trials, commissioning activities, troubleshooting projects and technical discussions with domestic and international pharmaceutical customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize pharmaceutical processes involving High Shear, Dry and Fluid Bed Granulation, Fluid bed Drying, Wurster Coating, Tangential Granulation and Coating, Hot Melt Granulation, Tablet Coating, etc
• Execute laboratory, pilot and commercial-scale trials and support technology transfer and scale-up activities.
• Lead/support FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification and start-up of processing equipment at customer sites.
• Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis and CAPA for process, equipment, automation and instrumentation issues.
• Act as technical interface with customers and support process demonstrations, validation and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Service, Automation, Quality and Production teams for project execution and problem resolution.
• Prepare technical reports, trial reports, case studies, SOPs and best-practice documents.
• Drive continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, customer satisfaction and competitor benchmarking initiatives.
• Support business development through technical solutions, aftermarket opportunities and spares generation.

Job description

Position Title: Lead- Process Technology & Support

Job Objective

To provide technical expertise in pharmaceutical process technology, process development, scale-up, process optimization, equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer technical support, predominantly involving Fluid bed equipment. The role works closely with Customers, Sales, Engineering, Service, Automation, R&D, Production and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and optimization of pharmaceutical processing solutions.
