Job summary

Siemens AG in India is seeking an NPD & Vendor Development Lead to drive product development from concept to launch and build a robust supplier base across raw materials, components, and tooling.

You will bridge design, manufacturing and supply chain, lead cross-functional teams, ensure ISO/IATF quality standards, and manage cost optimization through VA/VE while traveling to supplier locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in NPD and vendor development.
• Knowledge of APQP and PPAP.
• Familiarity with CAD tools, PLM systems, and ERP.
• Understanding of ISO/IATF quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD projects from concept to launch using stage-gate processes.

Role Summary

The NPD & Vendor Development Lead is responsible for managing product development projects from concept to launch and ensuring a robust vendor base for timely, cost-effective, and quality supply. Key Responsibilities

New Product Development

• Execute product development projects as per the stage-gate process.
