Qualifications

• 10–12 years of professional experience in network security engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
• Experience with rule analysis, cleaning up rules, and traffic analysis.
• Strong knowledge of 802.1X NAC and Cisco ISE.
• Understanding of static and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Experience with Arista Spine-leaf architecture.
• Data center migration experience and large-scale infra projects.
• Knowledge of switch traffic paths and firewall integration.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.

• Review, audit, and optimize security policies and access rules.
• Identify and block vulnerable ports and services to strengthen defense.
• Perform rule base clean-up and remove unused rules.
• Ensure best practices for firewall and Panorama operations.
• Implement and manage 802.1X authentication.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco ISE for NAC and policy enforcement.
• Integrate NAC solutions with security infrastructure.
• Lead or support data center migration activities.
• Ensure minimal downtime and smooth cutover during migrations.
• Validate switch-to-firewall traffic paths and connectivity.
• Provide end-to-end analysis of network and security flows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across network layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen enterprise security posture.

Job Title: Lead Network & Security Engineer

Experience Required: 10–12 Years

Location: Hyderabad

OSI Digital is looking for Lead Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Palo Alto (firewalls, Panorama), Arista Spine-leaf and Cisco ISE. The candidate should possess extensive experience in traffic analysis, rule base review, network access control, and data center migration projects. This role requires a proactive professional who can ensure the efficiency, security, and compliance of our client’s enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Palo Alto & Panorama

• Manage, configure, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
• Analyze network traffic and firewall rules to ensure compliance and security.
• Review, audit, and optimize security policies and access rules.
• Identify and block vulnerable ports/services to strengthen network defense.
• Perform rule base clean-up, removing unused or redundant rules.
• Ensure best practices are followed for firewall and Panorama operations.

Network Access Control (NAC)

• Implement and manage 802.1X authentication.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco ISE for NAC and policy enforcement.
• Integrate NAC solutions with security infrastructure.

Migration Projects

• Lead or support data center migration activities from legacy to modern environments.
• Ensure minimal downtime and smooth cutover during migrations.
• Validate switch-to-firewall traffic paths and ensure seamless connectivity.

Security & Network Operations

• Provide end-to-end analysis of network and security flows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance issues across network layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen enterprise security posture.

Required Skills

• 10 to 12 years of professional experience in network security engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls & Panorama.
• Proven experience in rule analysis, clean-up, and traffic analysis.
• Solid understanding of network access control (802.1X, Cisco ISE).
• Good Understanding of static Routing and Dynamic Routing like BGP OSPF and EIGRP.
• Hands on exposureon Arista Spine-leaf architecture.
• Experience in data center migration and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Deep knowledge of switch traffic paths, firewall integration, and network security design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Palo Alto certifications (e.g., PCNSE, PCCSA, PCNSA).

• Experience with multi-vendor environments and security best practices.
