Job summary

NPST in Noida is seeking a Lead Network Administrator to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable networks supporting our fintech platforms. You will lead MPLS, VPN, firewall, and IDS/IPS initiatives, ensuring high availability and compliance with PCI DSS guidelines.

You will work with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, manage network projects, and stay abreast of evolving technologies to drive secure, reliable connectivity across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experienced in network management, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) and tools (Wireshark, etc.).
• Understanding of network security principles and tools (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). Familiarity with encryption standards and secure communication protocols.
• Strong analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve network issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Network Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, and maintain scalable network architectures including MPLS and VPN.
• VPN Solutions: Implement and manage secure remote access; troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• MPLS Deployment: Design, configure, and manage MPLS networks; collaborate with providers for SLA adherence.
• Network Management: Monitor routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers; optimize configurations.
• Security Management: Enforce security protocols; perform vulnerability scans and risk mitigation.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues and outages.
• Configuration and Maintenance: Update firmware, document configs, integrate with apps.
• Compliance: Ensure PCI DSS compliance and regulatory awareness.
• User Support: Provide network access support and security awareness training.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and test DR/BC plans.

What will you do

As a Lead Network Administrator at NPST, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a secure network that supports the company's vision and business goals. This is a key position for ensuring that a reliable and secure network is available to all our stakeholders as we continue to grow as a fintech organization.

Job responsibilities:

Network Infrastructure Management

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable network architectures, focusing on MPLS and VPN technologies.
• Ensure continuous availability, performance monitoring, and optimization of network resources.

VPN Solutions

• Implement and manage VPN solutions to ensure secure and efficient remote access for employees and external partners.
• Troubleshoot and resolve VPN connectivity issues, optimizing performance and security.

MPLS Deployment

• Design, configure, and manage MPLS networks to enhance data transfer efficiency and network reliability.
• Troubleshooting and setup of MPLS connectivity.
• Collaborate with service providers to optimize MPLS connections and ensure adherence to service level agreements.

Network Management

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.), ensuring high availability and performance.
• Utilize monitoring tools to track network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations for improved performance.

Security Management

• Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive financial data.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and implement necessary measures to mitigate risks.

Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems and outages.
• Respond to network incidents with timely solutions.

Configuration and Maintenance

• Configure network devices, manage firmware updates, and maintain accurate network documentation and inventory.
• Work with IT teams to integrate network solutions with applications and services.
• Provide support for network-related projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide effective IT solutions.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS) related to network security and data protection.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting fintech.

User Support

• Provide technical support to end-users regarding network access and connectivity.
• Conduct training on network policies and security awareness.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity

• Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Conduct regular testing and drills to ensure the effectiveness of these plans.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network and system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Generate regular reports on network and system performance, security, and compliance.

Education Qualification - Graduate

Experience - 7+ years

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CISSP are beneficial.
