Job summary

Pune-based Lead - Mechanical Design Engineer role for Metals / Heavy Engineering, with 8-12 years of experience. Budget up to ₹20 LPA. The position involves upstream/downstream metals plant engineering, detailed 2D/3D design, and technical reviews.

Candidate will work across basic and detail engineering, 3D modelling, fabrication drawings, and BOMs, coordinating with vendors to ensure timely technical delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on 2D & 3D mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and solid modelling CAD.
• Experience in detailed component and assembly design, weldments, BOMs and fabrication drawings.
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment including structures, shafts, drives, conveyors, and rolling mill equipment.
• Ability to handle both design engineering and technical review.

Responsibilities

• The role involves basic and detail engineering, 3D modelling, fabrication drawings and design calculations.
