Job summary

GE Vernova T&D India Limited is seeking an experienced End-to-End Material Planner to drive demand and supply planning and run SAP MRP. The role requires managing master data such as safety stocks, reorder points, lot sizes, and BOMs to support uninterrupted manufacturing schedules.

You will lead material review meetings with procurement, QA and production, coordinate with suppliers and logistics, monitor OTIF performance, and mitigate shortages with proactive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in demand/materical planning or end-to-end supply chain.
• SAP MM/PP expertise and dedicated planning/MRP tools are musts.
• Excel data analytics and data visualization skills using Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Run MRP, manage MRP, and maintain critical MRP master data in SAP (safety stocks, reorder points, lot sizes, lead times, BOMs).
• Coordinate end-to-end material flow with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and suppliers to align with production schedules.
• Lead Material Review meetings with Procurement, QA, and Production; address shortages and supplier capacity constraints.
• Identify supply chain risks, manage obsolescence, and implement corrective actions to avoid downtime.

Run MRP and Manage MRP and maintain critical MRP master data parameters in the SAP system, including safety stocks, reorder points, lot sizes, lead times, and Bills of Materials (BOM). End-to-End Material Flow & Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with procurement, logistics, warehouse teams, and suppliers to synchronize material arrangements with production schedules. Track material transit, expediting critical shortages and managing supplier delivery performance (OTIF - On-Time In-Full). Responsible for leading the regular Material Review & Exception Management process to identify constraints, manage excess or obsolete stock, and align the end-to-end material flow to support uninterrupted manufacturing schedules. Lead routine Material Review meetings with Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Production to address critical shortages, delayed purchase orders, and supplier capacity constraints. Prioritize exceptions, proactively identify supply chain risks, and implement immediate corrective actions to avoid manufacturing downtime. Required Experience: 10 to15+ years of hands-on experience across demand planning, material planning, or end-to-end supply chain operations. SAP Systems Expertise and proficiency (SAP MM/PP) and dedicated planning/MRP tools are must. Expertise in Data Analytics in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
