ALSTOM Gruppe in Mumbai seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead logistics operations, optimize storage layouts, and align physical and system material flows. You will oversee a team of supervisors, coordinate with ERP users, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across the warehouse.
The role requires a degreed background in Industrial Engineering or SCM, 2–3 years in a leadership position, and strong SAP IM/WM experience.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the alignment of physical and system material flows, enabling seamless operations that directly impact production efficiency and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Logistics Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Planning), manage warehouse layouts and inventory accuracy, and lead a team of supervisors and operators to deliver excellence in logistics operations.
You’ll specifically take care of optimizing storage space and defining warehouse layouts, but also managing 3PL (Third Party Logistician) performance and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
We’ll look to you for:
Ensuring employees operate in a safe and compliant environment, adhering to company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
Managing physical material flows, including reception, storage, kitting, and shipping, to align with system processes
Guaranteeing material availability, integrity, and timely delivery to production lines
Overseeing ERP implementation and ensuring its correct usage by logistics operators
Monitoring and improving warehouse performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Leading continuous improvement initiatives and deploying Alstom Production System (APSYS) programs
Providing leadership to your team by setting objectives, coaching, and fostering professional growth
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics issues and implement corrective actions

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience in a management position (minimum 2-3 years)
Experience with ERP solutions (SAP preferred, particularly IM and WM modules)
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities
Knowledge of logistics operations and inventory management
Agile, inclusive, and responsible mindset
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in logistics
