Job summary

Adani Group is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to lead the development and implementation of innovative landscape design projects with a focus on sustainability. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, research environmental conditions, and manage multiple projects from concept to completion.

The role requires 12+ years of experience and mastery of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in landscape architecture.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper and Revit.
  • Master’s in Landscape Architecture preferred; sustainable design experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist development and implementation of landscape design projects with sustainability focus.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage timelines and budgets.
  • Research environmental conditions, flora/fauna, and zoning regulations.
  • Evaluate site conditions, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and monitor progress.
  • Prepare detailed reports and facilitate stakeholder meetings.
  • Oversee budget management and financial reporting for projects.
  • Lead digitization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency.

Purpose/Objective
  • This role is responsible for assisting the development and implementation of innovative landscape design projects, ensuring sustainability and environmental sensitivity.
  • This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting thorough research and analysis, and managing project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities of Role
  • Landscape Architect Landscape Design Implementation: Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on environmental conditions, land use, and zoning regulations.
  • Conduct thorough research on local flora and fauna to ensure appropriate plant selection.
  • Analyze environmental impact assessments to inform design decisions.
  • Stay updated with current design trends, technologies, and regulations.
  • Evaluate site conditions and constraints to inform project feasibility.
  • Collaborate with environmental consultants to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing research findings and recommendations.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple landscape architecture projects from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality of work.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project delays and issues.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Monitor expenditures and provide regular budget updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare financial reports detailing project costs and forecasts.
  • Digitization and Automation: Execute comprehensive digitization strategies to optimise operational efficiency.
  • Implement automation solutions to support overall organisational goals/strategy.
  • Review and implement process and system improvements, adopting newer technologies and innovative ideas.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B. Arch) from a reputed institute and Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from a reputed institute in India or abroad.
  • Work Experience (Range of years): 12+ years of experience with proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, and parametric planning and design tools.
  • Preferred Industry: Experience in a consulting or design firm with any professional qualification in sustainable design would be an advantage.
