Job summary

Globalwave Softech Pvt. Ltd. invites a Lead jQuery UI Developer with 10+ years of front-end experience to join a client project in Bengaluru. You will drive design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, and CSS3 in a hybrid contract setting.

You will mentor a development team, ensure scalable UI architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-performance, accessible interfaces across platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in front-end web application development.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and jQuery UI.
• Extensive experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON, and DOM manipulation.
• Hands-on experience developing and extending custom jQuery UI widgets.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML.
• Strong expertise in front-end performance optimization and browser debugging tools.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are looking for a Lead jQuery UI Developer with over 10 years of experience in front-end application development and strong expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, CSS3, and enterprise UI architecture. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with proven leadership capabilities, driving the successful delivery of scalable, high-performance web applications while mentoring development teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

This is a contractual position, and the selected candidate will work from the client’s office in hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, and CSS3.
