Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Architect with 7+ years of design experience to lead architectural projects in a collaborative environment. You will develop concepts, create construction documents, and coordinate with clients and internal teams in a hybrid work model.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required, with experience in SketchUp, Lumion, or Photoshop preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to drive project success.

Your impact

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of architectural design, including conceptual studies, programming, schematic documents, design development documents, and construction documents.
• Develop strong relationships within the firm and with our clients. This includes working side-by-side in a team environment with our Managing Principals, Project Managers, Architects, Interior Designers, and Emerging Professionals on active production.
• Responsible for overall client satisfaction, design quality and profitability of all projects undertaken that contribute to the firm's strategic priorities.
• Promote and foster collaboration and engagement with all team members.
• Manage, direct and mentor Project Managers, Architects, and junior staff.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited university.
• 7+ years of design experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCad and Revit.
• Experience with graphics software such as SketchUp, Lumion, or Photoshop is preferred.
• Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents.
• Understanding of relevant codes such as state and national building codes
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
