Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Architect to lead architectural design efforts across projects, from conceptual studies through construction documents, while building strong client relationships and ensuring design quality and profitability.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and team leadership, with a focus on delivering high-quality designs and fostering a positive work culture across hybrid offices and remote locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited university.
• 7+ years of design experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCad and Revit.
• Experience with graphics software such as SketchUp, Lumion, or Photoshop is preferred.
• Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents.
• Understanding of relevant codes such as state and national building codes
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic.
• Ability to interact professionally with office leadership, support staff, and clients.
• Ability to direct and motivate work efforts of others and handle stressful situations.
• Ability to self-manage and mange others for multiple project assignments from start to finish.
• Be a good team member fostering a positive work culture

• Promote and foster collaboration and engagement with all team members.
• Manage, direct and mentor Project Managers, Architects, and junior staff.
