Clarivate Plc in India is seeking an experienced storage and backup infrastructure engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale solutions.

You will lead projects across NetApp, Infinidat, and cloud-backed backups, ensuring high availability, security, and disaster recovery.

The role focuses on hybrid environments, optimization, and collaboration with development, security, and operations teams.

Formación

• 6 years or equivalent level of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or systems administration with storage focus.
• Hands-on with storage systems (NetApp, Infinidat) and backup tech (Commvault AVMAR, Rubrik HyperScale).
• Strong troubleshooting and optimization of enterprise storage and backup environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure for enterprise-scale apps with high availability.
• Lead storage and backup infra projects across technologies to protect enterprise data.
• Implement storage solutions (NetApp, Infinidat) for performance and scale.
• Manage backup strategies with Commvault-Hyperscale, AVMAR, and Rubrik for reliability.
• Configure disaster recovery to ensure business continuity and minimal downtime.
• Maintain systems across hybrid on-prem and cloud storage/backup environments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and ops teams for performance and compliance.
• Automate infrastructure processes to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor health, respond to incidents, and perform root cause analyses.

About You Education, Qualifications

• 6 years or equivalent level of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or systems administration, with a focus on enterprise storage and backup solutions.
• Hands-on experience with storage systems like NetApp and Infinidat, as well as backup and recovery technologies like Commvault AVMAR and Rubrik HyperScale.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise storage and backup environments.
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, system security, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Expertise in designing and implementing high-availability storage solutions, ensuring that systems are fault-tolerant and meet RTO/RPO requirements.
• Experience in integrating backup solutions into cloud environments, optimizing backup performance for hybrid cloud infrastructures.

It Would Be Great If You Also Had

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating infrastructure tasks and deployments.
• Experience working with cloud-native storage and backup solutions (e.g., Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage).
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere or other virtualization technologies.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining multi-site disaster recovery solutions.
• Expertise in defining and maintaining storage tiers and data lifecycle management policies.

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure solutions to support enterprise-scale applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Lead storage and backup infrastructure projects across various technologies, ensuring the protection and integrity of enterprise data.
• Implement and manage storage solutions such as NetApp, Infinidat, and other leading technologies to meet both performance and scalability needs.
• Manage and optimize backup strategies using Commvault-Hyperscale, AVMAR and Rubrik to ensure timely, reliable, and secure backup of critical systems.
• Configure and optimize disaster recovery solutions, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime.
• Maintain and administer systems across hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud), with a focus on storage and backup.
• Work with development, security, and operations teams to ensure infrastructure performance, compliance, and security.
• Automate infrastructure processes and deployments to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and conduct root cause analysis and resolution to prevent future occurrences.
