Job summary

UST in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Senior QA Lead – ServiceNow to drive quality assurance across implementations, enhancements, and support projects.

You will oversee test strategy development, end-to-end testing across ServiceNow modules, and collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, and client teams to ensure high-quality ServiceNow solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• ServiceNow testing across ITSM modules with strong automation awareness.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and QA processes for ServiceNow projects.
• Lead end-to-end testing across multiple ServiceNow modules and releases.
• Review requirements and user stories for testability and quality coverage.
• Design, review, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Lead Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
• Coordinate with development teams to identify, track, prioritize, and resolve defects.
• Drive defect triage meetings and provide status reporting to stakeholders.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Lead – ServiceNow (SNOW) to lead quality assurance activities across ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and support projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ServiceNow testing, test strategy development, automation, stakeholder management, and leading distributed QA teams. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, product owners, and client teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and QA processes for ServiceNow projects.
• Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple ServiceNow modules and releases.
• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to ensure testability and quality coverage.
• Design, review, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Lead Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT support.
• Coordinate with development teams to identify, track, prioritize, and resolve defects.
• Drive defect triage meetings and provide status reporting to stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide QA team members to ensure adherence to testing best practices.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics, test coverage, defect leakage, and release readiness criteria.

• Ensure compliance with organizational QA standards and governance processes.
• Required Skills & Experience ServiceNow Strong experience testing ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as: ITSM CMDB Incident Management Change Management Problem Management Service Catalog Knowledge Management QA & Testing Extensive experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, System, and UAT Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in defect management and root cause analysis. Ability to develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Automation & Tools Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr, ALM, or similar.
• Exposure to ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) preferred.
• Understanding of test automation concepts and frameworks.
• Leadership Experience leading QA teams and coordinating testing activities across multiple projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills. Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications are a plus.
• Experience working with global teams and client-facing engagements.
• Exposure to ITIL processes and best practices.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
