Job summary

JSW Steel in Navi Mumbai is seeking an experienced Renewable Operations Specialist to ensure 24x7 monitoring of solar and wind assets via IDCC platforms and to drive data reliability across sites. You will lead the creation and automation of reports (DGR, JMR, MIS dashboards) and push data analytics to improve plant performance.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in renewable energy operations (solar/wind).
• Hands-on SCADA systems experience and IDCC/Remote Monitoring Platforms.
• Experience in digital transformation, data analytics or centralized monitoring.
• Prior experience managing multi-site renewable portfolios is preferred.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure seamless 24x7 monitoring of solar and wind assets through IDCC platforms
• Drive data reliability, SCADA integration and real-time visibility across all sites
• Lead development and automation of operational reports (DGR, JMR, MIS dashboards)
• Improve plant performance through data analytics, alarm management and insights
• Coordinate with site teams to resolve data gaps, communication failures and SCADA

issues

• Enable digital initiatives including asset onboarding, inverter-level & string-level monitoring and geo-tagging
• Standardize data structures, KPIs and reporting formats across the portfolio
• Support predictive analytics, performance benchmarking and loss analysis
• Ensure cybersecurity and data governance compliance within digital systems
• Collaborate with IT and digital teams for platform enhancements and new tool deployment

Preferred candidate profile

• 8-12 years of experience in renewable energy operations (solar/wind)
• Hands-on experience in SCADA systems, IDCC / Remote Monitoring Platforms
• Experience in digital transformation, data analytics or centralized monitoring center
• Prior experience in managing multi-site renewable portfolios preferred

• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, data acquisition systems and communication

protocols

• Expertise in renewable plant performance analysis (solar & wind)
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, Python, Power BI/Tableau preferred)

• Understanding of plant KPIs: CUF, PR, availability, losses and forecasting
• Familiarity with API integrations, cloud-based platforms, and database systems

• Knowledge of grid operations, forecasting and scheduling (added advantage)
