Job summary

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate in HRM or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR generalist roles.
  • Experience in employee relations and training facilitation.
  • Experience on transformation and process improvement projects.
  • Affiliation with working in different cultures.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset to translate insights into action.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems like SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end HR operations focusing on process excellence and employee experience.
  • Oversee Talent Acquisition and partner with hiring managers on requirements.
  • Drive PMS planning, rollout, and monitoring with timely feedback cycles.
  • Organize Learning & Development initiatives and track effectiveness.
  • Manage Employee Relations & Engagement across locations.
  • Maintain HR records, compliance, onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Provide HR analytics and reporting; generate actionable insights.
  • Support HR knowledge centre and drive process improvements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union, at Navi Mumbai, India for LEAD – HUMAN RESOURCES.

As the Lead – HR you will drive end-to-end HR operations with a strong focus on HR process excellence, talent acquisition and employee experience. This role requires a proactive professional who can translate HR strategy into measurable outcomes, ensuring a high-performance and engaged workforce across locations.

Tasks and responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, and selection
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements
  • Ensure high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle
  • Performance Management System (PMS)
  • Support planning, rollout, and monitoring of performance cycles
  • Ensure timely completion of goal setting, reviews, and feedback cycles
  • Partner with managers to drive performance conversations
  • Learning & Development
  • Organize workshops to ensure awareness and alignment of employees with business priorities
  • Impart internal trainings and track effectiveness of training interventions
  • Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and queries
  • Strengthen employee engagement through initiatives and regular touchpoints
  • Collaborate with branch offices to identify and address people-related challenges
  • HR Operations & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR data, and documentation
  • Ensure HR policies and processes are implemented effectively
  • Support disciplinary actions and documentation with compliance
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify attrition drivers
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Manage daily activities of the HR Knowledge Centre, including, developing, motivating, coaching and imparting training and support to team members
  • HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Maintain HR dashboards and track key metrics
  • Analyze trends from surveys, exit interviews, and HR data
  • Provide actionable insights to improve HR effectiveness
  • Track employee lifecycle data
Requirements
  • Postgraduate in Human Resource Management or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in HR generalist roles (preferably in a service industry)
  • Strong experience in employee relations and training facilitation
  • Experience on Transformation and process improvement projects is preferred
  • Affiliation with working in different cultures
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (e.g., SharePoint or similar tools)
  • Must have passion for customer service and a drive for continuous improvement
