Ascendion is seeking a Lead Functional Tester with 10+ years of IT/software testing experience to join our squad in Hyderabad. You will work in an Agile environment, executing test strategies and ensuring quality across the software development lifecycle.

You will design and run detailed test scripts, verify features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance testing practices and delivery timelines.

Competenze

• Experience in Agile environments and working within a squad
• Strong knowledge of SCRUM/Agile methodologies and regression testing
• Solid understanding of standard software development life cycle processes
• Extensive experience with testing techniques (unit, functional, integration, regression, load, automation)
• Manual Testing experience in Telecom / Broadband domains
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence for test management

About the Role

We are looking for a 10+ Years of related experience in IT/software testing to join our team. The ideal candidate brings experience working with Agile environment; will be working as a part of the squad.

• Designing, writing, and running detailed test scripts based on business requirements to verify that software features function as intended.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience working with Agile environment; will be working as a part of the squad.
• Familiarity of SCRUM/Agile methodologies and regression testing is a plus
• Strong knowledge and experience of standard software development life cycle processes.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of testing techniques (unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, load testing, automation testing, etc.)
• Manual Testing experience with domains like Telecommunication / Broadband
• Working experience on tools like JIRA and Confluence
