Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Lead Functional Tester with 10+ years of IT/software testing experience to join our team in Hyderabad. You will work in an Agile squad, designing, writing, and executing detailed test scripts based on business requirements.

The role requires strong knowledge of SDLC, testing types, and hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence. You will ensure quality across telecom/broadband domains and help deliver reliable software for Fortune 500 clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, writing, and running detailed test scripts based on business requirements to verify that software features function as intended.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience working with Agile environment; will be working as a part of the squad.
• Familiarity of SCRUM/Agile methodologies and regression testing is a plus
• Strong knowledge and experience of standard software development life cycle processes.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of testing techniques (unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, load testing, automation testing, etc.)
• Manual Testing experience with domains like Telecommunication / Broadband
• Working experience on tools like JIRA and Confluence
